Why You Need an Auditor.

Pursuant to subsection 477.1(2) of the Canada Elections Act (S.C. 2000), all candidates shall appoint an auditor on appointing an official agent.

Pursuant to subsection 477.59(1)(b) of the Canada Elections Act (S.C. 2000), and auditor’s report on the Electoral Campaign Return must be provided to the Chief Financial Officer.
